Last week we got to head out of town again and join the Original Sewing and Quilt Expo in the Buckeye State! What a great show we had, it was so awesome to see everyone in the Cleveland area again!
The Original Sewing and Quilt Expo was back at the I-X Center after a few years away and wow did we love this venue! The Lobby was fun and inspiring with stars hanging from the ceiling.
Apparently the storm that happened on our set up day caused some tornadoes in the area. For all of you who live there, we are amazed how everyone seemed to think that was no big deal. (Living in Utah, we get some minor earthquakes but only one tornado in my lifetime!) The wind almost carried us away, or at least that is the dramatic story we told our families when we returned home.
The crowds were amazing and we had endless quilters and crafters to talk to all day long. The days went by almost too fast, we were having so much fun talking to everyone. Then the quilts...masterpieces. One day I want to grow up to be able to quilt like that.
Next time you decide to go to a quilting or crafting show, make sure you come find us and say hi. Next stop...Paducah, KY!
